Berkshire Botanical Garden is a not-for-profit, membership-supported educational garden spanning more than 15 acres in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 1934 as the Berkshire Garden Center, it is one of the region’s older public display gardens and features a living collection centered on native Northeast plants and those suited to Zone 5b. The site offers year-round classes, lectures, workshops, and exhibits, with daily garden tours from May 1 through Columbus Day, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and group tours available by appointment. It serves students and the general public through onsite programs and school collaborations, situating itself as a public horticultural and educational venue within the Museums, Historical Sites, and Zoos sector. A recent development is the installation of solar panels and a partnership with the Berkshire International Film Festival to present the 2025 Solar Film Forum on April 13, 2025.
