Best Law Firm is a family law practice located in Paradise Valley, Arizona — serving clients throughout Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Maricopa County. Founded in 2007 by Cynthia L. Best, Esq., the firm has deep roots in this community and a track record that few Arizona family law practices can match.
We practice family law exclusively. As a firm we have handled close to one thousand trials and more than five thousand mediations and settlements. Our work spans the full range of family law matters including ultra-high net worth divorce, high-conflict custody, domestic violence, international and interstate custody, prenuptial agreements, complex asset division, mediation, and legal divorce coaching.
Both founding partner Cynthia L. Best, Esq. and managing partner Tali Best Collins, Esq. have served as Judge Pro Tem in Maricopa County Superior Court — experience that permanently shaped how they think about advocacy, preparation, and what families actually need from their attorneys.
In 2009 Cynthia and Tali co-authored The Divorce Coach Handbook — a plain-language guide to the Arizona divorce process covering statutes, definitions, frequently asked questions, and case law. Now in its 2026 edition, it is the only book of its kind written by practicing Arizona family law attorneys. No other firm in Arizona has done this.
