Bestway Cement Limited, founded in 1992, is a Pakistan-based cement producer and a subsidiary of the UK-based Bestway Group. It is the country’s largest cement manufacturer, with a total capacity of 15.3 million tonnes per year and about 18.5% of the national market share. The company operates eight production lines across five sites—Hattar, Farooqia, Chakwal, Kallar Kahar, and Mianwali—and has established Greenfield clinker plants near Paikhel in Mianwali and at Hattar, each capable of 7,200 tonnes per day. Its product range covers ordinary Portland cement and several specialty variants, sold in multiple bag formats and in bulk. The company pursues environmental efficiency, with waste heat recovery power plants at all sites and water-saving measures such as air-cooled condensers at Chakwal and Kallar Kahar, complemented by off-grid captive solar capacity totaling 91.47 MW (projected to reach 114.41 MW by end-2023). A leadership update in 2024 saw Muhammad Danish Khan appointed as Chief Financial Officer.
