Beta Boom is a United States–based venture capital and private equity principal focused on pre-seed and seed investments in founders who aim to disrupt established patterns. The firm targets problem spaces in core business and consumer sectors, including digital health, fintech, future of work, enterprise software, cybersecurity, and enterprise SaaS, working with portfolio companies after investment through its growth team on a near-weekly basis. Its approach centers on supporting founders outside Silicon Valley, with a programmatic emphasis on mentorship and capacity-building to help early-stage software startups scale. Based in Chicago, Beta Boom has historically launched initiatives to assist underrepresented founders in the local tech ecosystem, and it maintains a process that invites founders to apply for funding without requiring warm introductions. A notable recent development involves a collaboration with Drip7 in the cybersecurity domain to extend its training capabilities into related areas such as compliance and DEI.
