Better; for Living is the ongoing work of Danielle Gaito and Giffen Clark Ott. Gaito (a fashion stylist) and Ott (an architect and fabrication designer) spent their formative years in the Bay Area, NY, LA, Dallas, and a score of international cities; through these travels they’ve connected with some of the most dynamic new names in the fashion and design scene. 
Inspired by these friends and their own creative intentions, Better provides a brick and mortar for daring emerging labels, as well as a studio for future and ongoing collaborations thereupon. 
As Better; for Living we stock select contemporary and vintage items for life, appreciation, and use. Focused on the longevity of craft, ethical sourcing, localized manufacturing, and understated design, we aren't the best; we make things (Better), and you can too.
Better; for Living facilitates the ever-changing environment of artisanship without the ego of the artist, focusing upon materiality over materialism.  We create limited release custom works and carry thoughtfully appointed goods from talented makers.  We constantly look for creatives who are as hungry to collaborate as we are.
