Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate The Good Life Group was founded in the summer of 2009 by Tom Simmons as Gold Coast Real Estate. We were and are a different kind of brokerage focused on providing quality, personalized service and expertise that always puts the clients’ needs first. Early on, our client centric model began to resonate among buyers and sellers as our young brokerage began to grow. It became evident that there was a void in the market for a unique brokerage model that valued quality over quantity, a brokerage that was intrinsically about the people not the organization.

As the brokerage continued to expand, Gold Coast Real Estate had a choice; forge ahead on its own or join a national brand. In our extensive research it became clear that one brand aligned with our consumer focused philosophy perfectly. That brand is Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. With BHGRE, we’re able to grow, by embracing the values of a local, independent brokerage with the power of an iconic national brand.
