We offer ethically crafted blankets, throws, and leather accessories, created in partnership with artisans from Ecuador, Peru, Turkey, and beyond. Each piece bridges cultural gaps and enriches our customers' lives with its cultural depth, enhancing their spaces and most treasured moments. Every artisan we partner with crafts their products using recycled fabrics and eco-friendly dyes in healthy environments.

Our Story:

Raul, my husband and entrepreneur from Quito, Ecuador, and I, Kirsten, a travel enthusiast from Nebraska, met in Ecuador while I was volunteering there, where he introduced me to beautiful blankets crafted by indigenous families in the city of Otavalo. We purchased our first blanket together, which became the perfect element in our relationship and life, from many picnic dates to quiet cozy evenings.
Inspired by their artistry, we then founded Beyond Borders Collective in 2017. Every product is created to empower and honor the hard work these artisans from around the world put into creating their products and the value that they bring to the final customer, as well as bridging the gap between cultures. We believe that it's all about the simple things and our desire is for everyone to experience the quality and value of each product and the people behind it.
