BFC Group Holdings W.L.L (BFC Group) was established in January 2008 and are parented by Alkhair Holding B.S.C. ©. We specialise in global money transfers, foreign currency exchange and wholesale currency services. Through nearly a century of development the BFC name has grown into a highly reputable organisation globally.

We started in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 1917, trading in gold bullion and continually growing our services when in the 1970’s we entered the remittance market, giving the fast-growing expat community the opportunity to send their hard earned money home. We are licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain and now specialise in global money transfers, foreign exchange and wholesale currency services.

BFC Group continues to grow its retail network and currently has over 160 branches located across the world. In addition, BFC Group also has an extensive global reach, enabling our customers to send money internationally to over 400,000 agent locations through MoneyGram, Transfast and EzRemit in 200 countries and territories.

In 2021, we successfully launch the BFC Pay App which offers a digital wallet (compliant with the WPS initiative by the LMRA and CBB) along with other features such as Money Transfer and Bill Payments.
