Over the course of subsequent decades, Martin and Ralph worked together in a variety of different capacities notable not only for their financial successes, but also for the exceptionally diverse scope and attributes of the different operating companies, investment partnerships, completed transactions and fiduciary obligations which were carried out. The largest of these business ventures was The Situs Companies. Prior to the sale of the company in 2011, Situs employed 400+ commercial real estate professionals located in 7 states and 6 countries. The insights gained from analyzing thousands of properties for Situs’ clients and the experience derived from operating an international commercial real estate consulting firm have shaped Martin and Ralph’s investment philosophy and resulted in a consistently strong investment performance. Over the years, they have successfully acquired, managed, leased, developed, and repositioned numerous properties through several economic cycles.
