BidWizer has developed a technology platform that creates a virtual marketplace linking auto dealers, credit unions, and consumers, so buyers can steer the deal. The platform is described as patent-pending, and the company plans to launch in the second quarter of 2024, starting with partnerships with credit unions.

Its primary market is credit unions and dealers in the automotive-finance space; current context shows there are more than 4,700 credit unions with about 141 million members, yet auto loans are available to only a minority of members—roughly 27%. BidWizer aims to capture more loans and revenue for credit unions and generate more deals for dealers, while giving consumers control over the purchasing process. The company is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and operates within the technology, information and internet sector. Credit unions historically lose a large share of their pre-approved loans to dealers, a dynamic BidWizer intends to address.
