Founded in 1962, the campus covers 154 acres just north of Moses Lake in Washington and sits adjacent to Grant County International Airport. As a comprehensive college, it provides programs for academic transfer, professional/technical training, developmental education, and a bachelor’s degree, and it is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges and designated as a Hispanic Serving Institution. The service district has about 110,000 residents across 15 primary communities. The college reports roughly 2,100 full-time-equivalent students and an annual headcount near 4,000, with more than 70 percent of students receiving need-based financial aid. In 2025, BBCC expanded its agriculture program with the introduction of an Agricultural Mechanics training certificate.
