At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Essex, Hudson & Union Counties we are committed to helping all youth achieve their full potential. We serve three of the most populous counties in the state of New Jersey – Essex, Hudson and Union Counties – which are home to communities with wide economic and social disparities for low-income families and people of color.

At BBBS our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth fighting for social justice. We can’t do this without partners like you.

We collaborate with nonprofits, school districts, higher education institutions, local law enforcement, corporations and the medical community who, along with their employees, assist in recruiting youth and volunteer mentors, securing dollars and in-kind services, delivering deeper programming, and sharing of ideas and strategies to make systemic changes for children facing adversity. Our strategic partnerships enable us to cross-pollinate ideas and to keep mentoring at the forefront of the conversation.
