Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lowcountry believes that every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As an affiliate organization of the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lowcountry makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 16, right here in the Lowcountry. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. 

In our community-based program, Bigs and Littles plan community outings based on mutual interests. They get together after work, school, weekends — at times that fit into everyone’s schedule!  It is all about taking time out to have fun with a child during the day!
