Founded by Dr Boyd in 2010, Big Dog Ventures, LLC is a  Veterinary Hospitality Development Company. Big Dog Ventures’ initial objective was to pioneer a new brand of Veterinary Resort which would set the standard within the emerging Veterinary Hospitality field. Two years later, the first Dr Boyd’s Veterinary Resort was opened in San Diego CA, followed by a Dr Boyd’s in Irvine CA, and then most recently a Dr Boyd’s in Rockville MD.  Shortly after opening our second Dr Boyd’s, the Big Dog Ventures team Founded in 2010 by Dr. John Boyd, Big Dog Ventures is a veterinary hospitality and pet care development company. We specialize in the investment, and the development of pet resorts, veterinary resorts, veterinary hospitals, dog daycare facilities, and kennels.
