Bike & Build is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging young adults in addressing this country's affordable housing crisis through a unique adventure/service platform. Specifically, our riders, ages 18-29, participate in cross-country cycling trips to raise money and awareness for the cause. To date, Bike & Build has directly involved more than 3,300 young adults through our programming. We have collectively volunteered over 245,000 build hours for affordable housing organizations. Our riders have contributed $6.6 million to housing groups. Once they complete the trip, Bike & Build alumni show a propensity for staying involved in their community.

Following their experience with Bike & Build, our alumni stay civically engaged as 83% volunteer at least once a year, far greater than national averages of 26% for all Americans and 22% of millennials.
