Bishop Timon - St. Jude High School is a Catholic secondary school located in Buffalo, New York, operating within the higher education sector. The school opened in fall 1946 with 76 freshmen and grew to enroll more than 1,100 students, prompting the creation of an annex named after Monsignor Nash of Holy Family Parish. The school emphasizes developing the whole person through rigorous academics, a wide array of extracurriculars, and a foundation of Christian values guided by Franciscan friars and lay teachers. Historically serving male students, the school has pursued a mission to challenge students and equip them with skills for success across academic, personal, and spiritual dimensions. In 1991 it incorporated as an independent Catholic high school governed by a Board of Trustees, and in 1993 the board added Saint Jude to the name; more recently, the school appointed Tim Kenney as head of school in December 2021.
