Bitting Recreation, Inc. originated as Guy Bitting, Inc. in 1960, at which time Guy Bitting began selling Game Time park and playground equipment in Pennsylvania and beyond. Started in Guy and Mimmie's basement office, it soon became apparent the growing business needed more room and has moved to ever larger space twice since that time. In 1975, Randy Bitting joined his parents and continued the family business with the help of talented and capable staff and sales personnel (see our biography page). Our organization has grown and changed dramatically since the early days, reflecting the evolving trends in providing Pennsylvania children and their families with safe and fun outdoor recreational activities.
