Bixbee is a small Chicago-based manufacturer that designs products for children, aiming to fuse practical use with imaginative appeal. The company operates a social-impact model in which each backpack purchase funds a schoolbag with supplies for a child in need through its One Here. One There. platform. Its backpacks use a horizontal, ergonomic silhouette intended to enhance comfort and durability while balancing function with style.

The founder, Luis Garcia, started the business after five months of volunteering and exploring educational access gaps in schools and orphanages. Bixbee is certified as a B Corp, reflecting an emphasis on social and environmental objectives alongside business practice. In November 2023, the company announced a collaboration to launch an animated series called Bixbee and The Beekeepers with Lunchbox Labs.
