Black Dog Yoga was founded in 2002 to provide an inspiring, safe and unpretentious haven for yogis of the San Fernando Valley. We pride ourselves in offering the highest-quality yoga in a clean, spacious and inviting environment. Steered by a large roster of almost 40 extremely gifted and knowledgeable instructors  (half of whom have been with us for more than ten years) and supported by our enthusiastic students, Black Dog Yoga has become the Valley’s premier yoga center. When you walk through our doors into our colorful lobby, you will find yourself in beautiful, calm surroundings with our friendly staff ready to assist you.

With 7,000 square feet and four practice rooms, Black Dog Yoga is the largest, independently-owned studio in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. Each of our asana rooms is bright and clean with an ample supply of the best available yoga props. We offer more than 90 classes a week for students of all levels in a variety of styles. We hold a wide variety of workshops and events throughout the year. A Registered Yoga School, (RYS200 & RYS500) we offer Teacher Training and Deeper Studies Programs at the 200-hour and 300-hour levels. We’re proud of our many graduates who have established successful careers as yoga teachers here in LA.

We offer classes 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. Black Dog Yoga is pleased to remain a friendly, locally-owned studio where you will find the owner teaching classes too! Come and visit us in Sherman Oaks soon.
