Black Hawk Country Club is a private hospitality and golf destination based in Richmond, in the Houston area. It opened in 1999 as The Houstonian Golf & Country Club on 450 acres, developed alongside Shadow Hawk Golf Club and established by The Redstone Companies to serve members and guests of The Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa. In 2001 it introduced a private membership and has since evolved into a notable private club for golf and related amenities in the region.

The club has undergone multiple capital improvements, with a final expansion completed in 2008 that added enhanced pools, dining, racquet sports facilities, a kids’ clubhouse, a modernized fitness center, and The Spa at Black Hawk. It has hosted high-profile events, including the 2006 Nationwide Tour Championship, the 2009 LPGA Tour Championship presented by Rolex, and co-hosted the 2011 U.S. Mid Amateur Championship with Shadow Hawk. In 2023, Shadow Hawk Golf Club announced a partnership with Black Hawk Country Club to provide access to shared amenities such as racquet sports, childcare, and massage therapy.
