Our Beginnings Founded by farmers in 1988, Blackberry Patch harvested local fruits and used time-honored Southern techniques to make jams, jellies and syrups. The company’s goal then was the same as it is now: to make handmade, small batch, high-quality, goods using real fruits and family recipes. In 1999 a pair of entrepreneurs with more than 40 years of combined business and food industry experience, acquired Blackberry Patch and began expanding the product assortment, as well as pursuing wider distribution. Today, as a result of their efforts, Blackberry Patch products are sold across the country in leading department stores, specialty food stores, resorts, mail order catalogs, and through our all-new online shop. Our Products Our fruit syrups, toppings, jams, and preserves are all handcrafted in Thomasville, Georgia, a welcoming, small Southern town that has served as a source of inspiration for many of our time-tested recipes. Our products have a just-like-mother-made-it good taste, because each is made with natural flavors and clean, simple ingredients.
