Investment Philosophy

BlackShark Capital employs a relative value strategy that seeks to exploit price and volatility differentials in options of various commodities by buying undervalued assets and selling assets that are overvalued based on proprietary metrics. We accomplish this by utilizing options that have a high correlation to each other in order to minimize risk. The objective is to create a diversified portfolio of long and short exposures that will exhibit positive correlation in upside markets and a negative correlation in downside markets.
