BlazeSports America is a nonprofit organization in the spectator sports industry, based at 3000 Business Park Drive, Suite A, Norcross, Georgia 30071, United States. It originated in 1993 as the legacy organization of the 1996 Paralympic Games in Atlanta and is described as the longest-running legacy program of any Paralympic Games. The organization provides adaptive sport and recreation opportunities for people with physical disabilities to enable participation in sport comparable to that of non-disabled individuals at national and international levels. Its mission focuses on changing the lives of children and adults with physical disabilities through adaptive sport, and its goals include character development, healthy lifestyles, self-sufficiency, capacity-building for local service providers, and promoting positive perceptions and equity through sport.
