Strategic Acquisition Bloc Design has been acquired by V3 Companies, expanding its scope and client base within the Carolinas. This presents opportunities to align services with V3’s broader portfolio and cross-sell multi-disciplinary civil, landscape, and planning offerings to existing V3 clients.

Small Firm, High Flexibility With a lean team of 2-10 employees and revenue under $1M, there is potential to engage Bloc Design for targeted, high-margin projects, pilot collaborations, or scalable subcontracting arrangements to win faster project wins in civil engineering and landscape architecture.

Multi-Disciplinary Capabilities Bloc Design offers master planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering, and project management. Market opportunities exist in integrated project delivery, design-build, and public-sector master plans where a single firm can coordinate multiple disciplines.

Regional Focus Serving the Carolinas, Bloc Design’s regional footprint aligns with V3’s expansion goals. This creates a foothold for targeted regional campaigns, partnerships with local municipalities, and procurement opportunities in Charlotte and surrounding markets.

Digital & Tech Lean Current tech stack includes modern web and cloud tools, signaling readiness to adopt advanced BIM, GIS, or collaborative design platforms. Upsell opportunities exist for digital transformation services, cloud collaboration, and data-driven project management for improved efficiency.
