Blue Dome Press is established to publish scholarly and prestigious titles, primarily in the fields of interfaith dialogue, intercultural studies, art, and history. The mission of the Blue Dome is to promote and encourage works that contribute to common understanding and dialogue among different cultures, religions, and communities of the world. Blue Dome stands for the overarching sky, the protecting roof of our planet, the shelter of life that forsakes no individual, nation, or species. We picked the word "dome" instead of "sky" to show that we all live under the same roof, connected and destined to the same future. Considering that one of our publishing areas concern the studies of interfaith and intercultural dialogue, the use of "Blue Dome" shows our intention that we like to focus on connections between peoples and cultures, not separations.
