Blue Fig Editions is a printmaking studio and workshop based in Brentwood, Tennessee, that produces original and innovative prints while partnering with artists to develop images in print media. The studio also engages non-artists in hands-on collaborative work, and it contracts with publishers, dealers, galleries, and institutions to create limited editions using their own design representatives or artists. Services include printing for artists, collaborative edition development for organizational causes, creation of artwork for charitable fundraisers, as well as printmaking classes and workshops for individuals and groups, along with promoting and selling prints created through Blue Fig Editions. Positioned within the artists and writers industry, the company operates on a limited basis for open-shop or collaborative projects by experienced artists, offering multiple pathways to access printmaking and edition production. The organization appears to function with a small, localized operation in the United States, serving a range of clients from individual artists to institutions seeking limited edition prints and collaborative projects.
