Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp is a summer school of the arts located on a 1,600-acre campus in Michigan's Manistee National Forest, offering comprehensive fine arts education for all ages. Each summer, its principal program serves more than 5,400 gifted students across elementary through high school with curricula in music, art, dance, and drama, and features more than 175 performances during the Summer Arts Festival. Beyond the camp experience, the organization runs an International Exchange Program and two public radio stations, expanding its cultural reach. Founded in 1966, Blue Lake has provided cultural enrichment to more than 350,000 gifted students and audiences. The camp is based in Twin Lake, Michigan, and is positioned within the artists and writers sector as a long-running provider of arts education and enrichment. In May 2024, Dr. Gary Mortenson was named president and CEO, marking a recent leadership development for the organization.
