Blue Marine Foundation is a UK-registered environmental charity focused on marine conservation. Based at The Strand in London, England, it was founded in 2010 by members of the team behind the documentary The End of the Line. The organization works to establish marine reserves and to promote sustainable fishing practices, with a core aim of campaigning against over-fishing and protecting 30% of the world's oceans by 2030. It engages with a range of partners across industry and civil society to advance its conservation goals. Recent developments include partnerships with Sacs Tecnorib (Apr 2025) and Exodus Adventure Travels (Jan 2025) to support ecosystem protection and restoration, as well as collaborations involving Reef Knots, Sunsail and The Moorings. The foundation has also launched initiatives such as the Solent Seascape Project, begun in 2023 to restore native oyster populations.
