Bluestem Health (formerly People's Health Center) is a non-profit, designated Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing quality medical, dental and behavioral health services to the Lincoln community since 2003. FQHCs are “safety-nets” and serve as medical home and health home for over 25 million people in the United States -- a number that is quickly growing. Currently, there are over 1,400 FQHCs across the nation. FQHCs reduce health disparities, increase access to high quality care, boost local economies by creating jobs, reduce costly emergency room visits and overall improve health outcomes to create a better quality of life. Bluestem Health is a resource for the entire community for medical, dental and behavioral health services all under one roof. Our goal is to be a resource for all patients regardless of their ability to pay. We accept all major types of insurance and also offer a sliding fee discount program so that patients are able to afford treatment.
