Since its creation, BMI has been designing and manufacturing industrial furnaces for heat treatment. Since the early 1980s, it has specialised in the manufacturing of industrial vacuum furnaces for the main heat and thermochemical treatments.

Beyond this range of standard furnaces, BMI offers the option of designing, implementing and manufacturing custom-made furnaces to meet specific requirements of some sectors (aeronautics and automotive industries, medical sector, steel and equipment manufacturers and heat treatment contractors).

Today, BMI has many patents and many technical specifications resulting from its experience in the development of innovative solutions, as much for the techniques (e.g. nitriding and low-pressure carburising) as for its technical offer (e.g. rotary volute and inflatable seal).
