Boa Offshore is a family-owned maritime transportation company based in Trondheim, Norway, with operations spanning the globe. Established in the 1970s, it provides offshore services for leading operators across a range of tasks, including moving offshore modules and rigs on barges designed for float-on/float-off transfers, as well as load-out and launching of heavy objects. Its activities also cover rig moves, general offshore support, subsea installations and construction, and salvage operations along the Norwegian coast, along with harbour towage and terminal operations in ports between Trondheim and Kirkenes and coastal towages in central and northern Norway. The company serves offshore operators as its client base, delivering heavy-lift transport, rig handling, and subsea construction support from its central Norway base to international assignments. In 2022, Boa Offshore signed a contract with SBM Offshore Group for load-out, shifting and float-off work on three floating foundations at Fos-sur-Mer, France.
