BPSOS is a United States-based nonprofit serving Vietnamese-American communities across the country. As a national, community-focused organization, it aims to empower, organize, and equip Vietnamese individuals and communities in their pursuit of liberty and dignity within the non-profit sector. Historically, the group has engaged in humanitarian and advocacy work, including partnerships in the 1980s with Médecins Sans Frontières and Cap Anamur to conduct boat rescue missions in the South China Sea. In 2019, the organization carried out a public information campaign to inform religious communities in Vietnam about a United Nations resolution and encourage their support.
