Bob Hope School is a system of free, public charter schools across southeast Texas, with seven locations in Cypress-Fairbanks, Port Arthur, Beaumont, Baytown, and Pasadena, TX. Our goal is to transform the community through a culture of service and leadership. Established in 2010, Bob Hope School has a vision to increase the number of self-motivated, biliterate, and bilingual critical thinkers who graduate from high school and seek their full potential in either the workforce or in college. Across campuses, we accomplish this vision through unique educational opportunities and offerings not presented by traditional public schools. This includes Montessori methods for teaching PK3-2nd grade, 50/50 dual-language instruction for all grades in English and Spanish, Mandarin classes beginning in PK3, violin instruction for all students—with instruments provided—beginning in the 1st grade, and dance and ballet classes available. Our enrollment operates on a lottery system, so there are no academic or behavioral barriers to prospective students. Open enrollment for this year began on January 8, 2025.
