Boise Philharmonic Association is the principal performing arts organization in Idaho, based in Boise and recognized as the state's largest and oldest in its field. It features an 80-plus member professional orchestra and presents fourteen Masterworks concerts per season, along with Pops programs and a chamber music series that includes new commissions. The ensemble performs for more than 50,000 people annually at venues such as the Morrison Center, NNU's Brandt Center in Nampa, and in schools across the state.

Its mission aims to musically enrich, entertain, and educate audiences through high-level performances and broad community engagement, supported by extensive educational programs such as Musically Speaking, Backstage with the Artists, classes for young children, the Boise Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and the annual Children's Concerts reaching 12,000 schoolchildren in nine free performances. The organization also runs Verde Percussion Group and offers Ensembles in the Schools and Conductor in the Schools as part of its educational initiatives. In 2025, the Boise Mayor's Awards named Boise Phil the City of Boise Cultural Ambassador for fiscal years 2026 and 2027.
