Since 1958, Boise Rescue Mission Ministries has reached out to the Treasure Valley community by teaching the word of God and providing food, shelter, clothing, counseling, education and other resources for men, women, and children in need. With six locations in Canyon and Ada Counties, Boise Rescue Mission is the largest provider of homeless services in the state of Idaho. Facilities in Boise include the River of Life Men's Shelter, City Light Home for Women and Children, Next Step, Curtis Road Transitional Apartments, and the Ministry Center. The Recovery Lodge, Valley Women and Children's Shelter, and Next Step Nampa Transitional Apartments are in Nampa. Boise Rescue Mission Ministries is a registered 501(c)(3) organization that receives no government funding. The organization is fully supported through individual donors, businesses, private grants, and churches.
