Established in the fall of 2006, Bonacquisti Wine Company is a family-owned, urban winery located Denver’s Northside just south of I70 on Pecos. We make wine and play music. Home of Denver Wine Radio, Vinny No Neck and Bella Risa. About Paul Bonacquisti: Owner and winemaker Paul Bonacquisti is a second generation Italian American, born in Denver. Bonacquisti’s knowledge of and passion for winemaking stemmed from his father, an entrepreneur and jeweler who was a passionate winemaker on the side. Bonacquisti spent years working alongside his father, assisting him with making wine in their small garage at the house where he grew up in Brighton, CO. In 2006, he earned his Level 2 Sommelier certification from the International Wine Guild. From there, he merged them with his own personal, more modern approach with the art of winemaking to creating and customize his own wine blends. His extensive experience combined with his wine education is what has catapulted the recognition of his wines, earning international and regional accolades. Paul creates wine in various styles to give guests new ways to experience wine. About Judi Diaz Bonacquisti, EdD: Dr. Judi Diaz Bonacquisti, owner and education advocate, is passionate about driving Bonacquisti Wine Company’s community involvement in local education and art development. Working in higher education for more than 20 years, Judi has engaged the winery in a number of local partnerships with nonprofit organizations including the Denver Scholarship Foundation, CESDA Colorado Educational Services and Development Association, the Latin American Education Foundation and others. Bonacquisti Wine Company’s core philosophies have supported local education and local art since our inception in 2006. Vinny No Neck and Bella Risa are named in honor of our children.
