Borer Chemie AG is a leading provider of cleaning and disinfection technology. The company develops, produces and sells globally recognised brand products and proven methods for professional applications in hospital hygiene, the industrial sector and the life sciences. Typical product users are medical institutions, manufacturers of precision parts, analytical laboratories and drug companies.

The research & development team develops processes and formulations for the cleaning demands of our customers in our in-house technical department. The entire manufacturing, filling, labelling and packaging process as well as on-time shipping of the over 150 highly specialised products also takes place at our headquarters in Zuchwil. The systems and equipment are state-of-the-art; the factory is certified to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003.

We have agencies in over 65 countries which are responsible for sales. The specialists in our agencies offer targeted, industry-specific training to support the customers in the optimal use of the products, thereby bringing their expertise to the user.

The company was founded in 1965 by Anton Borer as a one-man operation. Today it employs more than 80 staff at its headquarters in Zuchwil. As part of the dynamic development of the Asian market a subsidiary was also set up in Shanghai in 2008. The subsidiary today employs ten members of staff. 

Managing Director is Dr. Markus Borer, son of the company’s founder. The company is 100% family-owned.
