Bo's Place is a Houston-based nonprofit in the individual and family services field that provides free bereavement support for children, families, and adults, along with education and resources for caregivers and others who assist people in grief. The center is located at 10050 Buffalo Speedway, and it emphasizes the therapeutic value of sharing stories, memories, and feelings among those grieving. Its history traces back to 1990 as a grief support information and referral line, with services expanding to children and families after a 1995 move to the Museum District and a dedicated facility opening in 2005. Bo's Place functions as Houston's oldest and only ongoing free grief-support program for children, serving the broader community through ongoing groups for families. In January 2025, the organization hosted its Hearts of Hope Dinner at The Post Oak Hotel to support free grief services for families.
