Led by Sheriff Julian Whittington, the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office enforces state law and parish ordinances, investigating crimes of all kinds across the parish. We also investigate motor vehicle accidents and conduct traffic enforcement. The Sheriff’s Office contains numerous departments outside of the criminal division, including our corrections facilities, civil department, and property tax collection.
