Both ENDS is a nonprofit organization based in Utrecht, Utrecht province. It works with environmental justice groups from the Global South to advance a sustainable, fair, and inclusive world. It collects and shares information on policy and investments with direct effects on people and their livelihoods, and it supports joint advocacy and dialogue among multiple stakeholders. It also promotes sustainable local alternatives as part of its engagement. Its work targets environmental justice groups, civil society actors, policymakers, and local communities affected by development choices, seeking to translate information and dialogue into constructive action. In July 2021, the organization partnered with SEATINI-Uganda and the Transnational Institute to organize a virtual Civil Society Policy Engagement on Africa's accession to the Energy Charter Treaty.
