Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui – About

For nearly 30 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Maui (BGCM) has been dedicated to making life better for Maui’s youth. More than just a safe place to go after school, our Clubs provide life-changing programs guided by caring, trained mentors.

We operate seven safe and welcoming Clubhouses across the island — in Kahului, Haʻikū, Kahekili Terrace (State Public Housing), Lahaina, Makawao, Paukūkalo (Hawaiian Home Lands), and Club-On-The-Go (a mobile program that brings the Club experience to communities where we are needed most).

Membership is free for youth ages 8–17 (and up to 18 if still in high school). Clubs are open whenever school is out — after-school on weekdays, during school breaks, and all summer long — providing positive, productive opportunities when kids need them most.

Transportation is provided in partnership with MEO, ensuring access for every child who wants to attend.

Volunteer: Share your time and talents — from tutoring and tech to art, music, or office support — and inspire the next generation.

Donate: It costs over $2,500 per year to provide services for each member. Your support ensures Maui’s keiki have access to safe spaces, caring mentors, and proven programs that help them thrive.
