Brassica Protection Products LLC develops nutritional ingredients derived from cruciferous vegetables, focusing on glucoraphanin extracted from broccoli seeds using a natural hot water process. Its TrueBroc glucoraphanin is marketed for use in dietary supplements, foods and beverages, and the Brassica brand also includes gourmet green and black teas and a light and dark roast coffee containing TrueBroc. Since 1997, Brassica has collaborated with Johns Hopkins School of Medicine to advance research on glucoraphanin and sulforaphane, contributing to a substantial body of scientific publications.

Positioned in the biotechnology research sector, the company emphasizes nutraceutical ingredients derived from broccoli and related compounds. It is based in Baltimore, Maryland, and operates with a small team; in 2021 Brassica expanded its presence to Central Ohio with a new location at Easton Town Center to serve that market. The firm also supports research connectivity through programs such as adopting broccoli with the American Botanical Council and its HerbMedPro database, aligning product development with evolving clinical understanding.
