Brewer High School is a comprehensive public high school serving about 750 students from the City of Brewer and surrounding towns in grades nine through twelve, located in eastern Maine. The school combines a broad academic program with approaches designed to personalize the high school experience, including Advanced Placement courses, an Honors Diploma pathway, early college options, internships, and career and technology education through a partnership with the United Technologies Center. It also emphasizes leadership and civic engagement through collaborations with Jobs for Maine Graduates and the Air Force JROTC, along with a structured freshman transition that features dedicated teacher teams, seminars, study halls, and a one-to-one laptop program. 

Beyond traditional coursework, Brewer High School has introduced innovative options such as a remote-learning program launched in 2021 and a six-week summer Forestry Immersion Program that began in 2023. In 2026, the school announced a renewed partnership with Maine TREE to offer the Forestry Immersion Program again in the coming summer. Serving the local community in eastern Maine, the school maintains a mid-sized staff to support its diverse programs and aims to prepare students for academic, vocational, and civic pathways.
