The companies that currently comprise Bright Industries emerged from the legacy companies founded by tenacious Texas businessman, Harvey Roberts “Bum” Bright. Later, his sons, the late Chris and Clay Bright, transformed and expanded this collection of companies into the multi-faceted organization that became Bright Industries. Services include real estate development, home building operations, golf operations, financial services, and corporate hospitality.

Building upon this foundation, the third generation of the Bright family now operates the family businesses guided by the spirit and example of their predecessors.
