BAE provides music and related arts programming in Bronx schools and neighborhoods. We contribute to the cultural lives of our communities through live performances and innovative arts education that stimulate creativity, imagination and aspiration.

ARTS-IN-EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Carrying out its strong commitment to comprehensive arts education for our young people, BAE provides arts instruction in over 40 schools through its contract with the NYC Dept. of Education, with funding from New York State Council on the Arts, NYC Dept. of Cultural Affairs and private corporations and foundations. Our programs include instruction in:

MUSIC PERFORMANCE
BAE serves its community with  concerts in the western classical, jazz and Latin traditions. We have a special relationship with NYC Department of Parks and Recreation, providing free concerts in Van Cortlandt and Pelham Bay Parks. Other performance venues include intimate recitals in private homes and concerts held on the college campuses of Fordham University, Hostos Community College and Lehman College.
