Who We Are Brooklyn Plaza Medical Center, Inc. (BPMC) has provided comprehensive quality health care and support services to the Fort Greene and North Central Brooklyn residents and surrounding communities for more than two decades (1978). The Center is licensed by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and is a federally qualified health center (FQHC). Our facility has ten examination rooms for medical services, two dental exam rooms, and a laboratory. Brooklyn Plaza offers full range of health care and support services. Women, Infant and Children (WIC) services are available on-site. Staff is also available to assist with applications for Child Health Insurance Plan (CHIP), free or low cost insurance for children fewer than 19 and Family Health Plus for adults 19-64 years of age. Our staff consists of highly qualified and experienced medical professionals and support staff. All of our physicians and dentists are Board Certified or Board eligible. Our Mission Brooklyn Plaza Medical Center, Inc. is dedicated to improving the physical, spiritual, psycho-social and psychological well-being of residents of North Central Brooklyn by providing the highest quality preventive comprehensive family health services with particular concern for lower-socio-economic groups.
