Brooklyn Standard Properties was founded in 2013 with the intent to acquire and re-position properties in gentrifying neighborhoods of Brooklyn & Manhattan.  BSP identifies areas of NYC in the midst of gentrification where they expect to see dramatic growth in rents and land value. Within these areas, we purchase under-managed, under-valued rental buildings that will provide short-term value-add returns by upgrading the properties for today’s modern tenant. These properties offer an extremely unique risk/reward profile.  Our goal in identifying these particular properties is to offer yield, an appreciating asset, and inflation protection.
