The Broussard Chamber of Commerce, founded in 2007, is an organization built on the premise that a strong community rests on the shoulders of a thriving commercial sector. It's mission is to “assist in the development and growth of businesses within the community by promoting networking and community service." It also serves as a platform to spark the exchange of knowledge and ideas amongst community and business leaders. The membership is comprised of over 200 commercial organizations anchored in various industries inclusive of retail, oil and gas, hospitality, food service, communications, mining services, manufacturing, medical, insurance, financial services, and real estate, among others. It's an affiliate of the National Chamber of Commerce and partners with other state, parish and local organizations to support our local business community. The Chamber continues to hold monthly luncheons with informative speakers, ribbon cuttings and quarterly After Hours events sponsored by a Chamber member. About Broussard, LA: Broussard, LA is a small town with BIG business;a thriving business community with hundreds of small businesses and many multinational corporations in the oil and gas industry. It's one of the fastest growing areas in the South and is home to only one of of two sanctioned PGA Tour events in the state of Lousiana;The Louisiana Open held at LeTriomphe Golf and Country Club.
