Broward College is a public higher education institution established by the Florida Legislature in 1959 and is part of the Florida College System. The college offers certificates, two-year university-transfer degrees, two-year career degrees, and select bachelor’s degrees, organized across eight career pathways. The college serves a diverse student body representing around 150 countries across its campuses and online programs. In May 2026, Gov. Ron DeSantis reappointed two trustees to the Broward College District Board of Trustees.
