Bruker Alicona, headquartered in Graz in the Styrian region of Austria, provides optical measurement technology for quality assurance in manufacturing. Its non-contact systems support precise measurement of size, form, position, and surface properties across varied parts and materials, spanning production measurement, automation, prototyping, and QA. The approach integrates dimensional metrology with surface roughness assessment, enabling a single optical sensor to capture both geometric features and surface textures with traceable results.

Founded in 2001 as Alicona, the company has pursued continuous innovation and tighter integration of measurement technology into production. It joined the Bruker family in 2019 and now operates globally under the Bruker Alicona brand from its Graz headquarters. In May 2026, Bruker Alicona announced the launch of μCMM Neo, the next generation of its optical coordinate measuring machine, signaling ongoing product development.
